A standard issue pattern 58 canteen. The British Army has been using these bottles for decades. Made by the trusted and popular brand, Osprey, who make a range of equipment for the British as well as high-end commercial outdoor gear. Osprey construct these canteens out of a durable plastic material. This is a tough bugger that would take a lot of force to split or crack. The lid is tethered on though it can be un-tethered if required (some may be missing this tether attachment).
